What should I expect when I visit Heritage Family Church?

Something special about HFC is that when you walk into the doors you feel welcomed. Throughout your time here you will experience a welcoming and family-oriented atmosphere. Each service there is dynamic praise and worship and Bible-based preaching! You will see that there are multiple opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth as well. Whether you are joining us as a first time guest or looking for a church home, you are welcome at HFC!

Do I have to be a member to attend?

You do not have to be a church member to attend our services or groups! At HFC, everyone is welcome to attend our services and we would love to have you visit! We encourage you to come as you are, meet our church family, join in worship with us, and learn more about what Heritage Family Church is all about.

What does Heritage Family Church believe?

HFC is a Bible-based church that teaches the biblical message of salvation and emphasizes growing in a personal relationship with God. Our beliefs include one God, Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism in Jesus’ name, and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost!

What should I wear?

We want you to come in whatever you feel comfortable wearing. It is our goal for you to feel welcomed upon arrival and throughout the service, while being able to focus on worship, fellowship, and the Word of God.

Is there something for my children?

We believe that children are special in the eyes of God and because of that they are an important part of our church family. HFC provides opportunities specifically designed for children, including Sunday School and multiple children’s activities. They never leave disappointed and without having had fun with the group of kids and kids leaders. 

Is there something for teenagers?

Heritage Family Church emphasizes the importance of young people’s personal growth in their relationship with God. We have a youth ministry, The Chosen, which is designed for this. The group helps builds friendships while encouraging youth to become involved in the church.

Are there groups for adults?

Of course!! HFC offers several groups and opportunities for fellowship, including Crossroads (18-21) , Purpose (22-married) L.I.F.E. (All ladies 18+), TBD (The Best Days married to age 39) MAM (Middle Aged Minglers 40-60), and HOP (Happy Old People 60+) These groups provide opportunities for connection, growth, and friendship.

What happens during worship?

Our worship services is a way to get your mind ready to hear the Word of the Lord. You may see people singing, clapping, lifting their hands, playing instruments, and worshiping God freely. We believe worship should be an active expression of our gratitude to God.

What does HFC teach about salvation?

HFC teaches that the biblical plan of salvation includes repentance, baptism in Jesus name, and receiving the Holy Ghost, evidenced by speaking in tongues.

Do I have to know anything about the Bible before I come?

Not at all! You don’t have to know anything at all because that is why we are here! Come with questions, come ready to learn, and allow us to walk beside you as we all grow together.

How can I get connected?

There are many ways to get connected at HFC—from attending services and coming to our outreach small groups, getting involved with our children’s, Youth, Crossroads, Purpose, TBD, MAM, or Hop groups.
